No, insurance does not cover the cost of the screening fee, and you will be responsible for submitting payment for the screening fee prior to or at the time of your screening appointment. Most treatment providers accept insurance for DUII treatment services. If you have insurance, please research which treatment providers take your insurance prior to your ADSS screening, as you will be asked to select a DUII services provider at that time. Your evaluator will guide you with the referral process.

Yes, a person can switch to a different DUII approved services provider however please be aware that any treatment previously completed will not transfer to the new program and you will be starting over with the new program. You will be required to submit a written request for a re-referral, complete a new release of information (ROI), and submit payment for the $35 re-referral fee prior to being re-referred to the new DUII services provider. Please do not change DUII treatment providers without completing the re-referral process with our office first.

ADSS screenings are not the same as a treatment evaluation. DUII treatment providers conduct a clinical assessment and treatment planning at the beginning of your treatment. Additionally, you must work with the Court's designated ADSS despite where you live as we are the Court monitoring agency and assist you with treatment and Diversion. requirements. 

We offer ADSS screening appointments both in-person at our office in Oregon City or via telehealth using Teams. If you select a telehealth appointment, we will email you the meeting link the day prior to your appointment.

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment or provide less than 24 hours notice, you may be charges a $50 fee. Please be aware you will be required to pay the $50 No Show/Late Cancelation Fee and the screening fee in full prior to being able to reschedule.
